Back in the saddle today – fielded mail and did laundry yesterday.

As a treat to ourselves and a “welcome home” present – we went to go see The Incredibles.

It wasn’t the now expected great animation from Pixar.

It wasn’t the well crafted story.

It wasn’t the great voice talents.

Oh my god – it was the production design.

Glass said monkeys will flip… and flip they did… I literally left the theater with a brain-freeze type headache from gobbling up the wonderful mid-century inspired virtual sets.

Obviously the production designer either owns, or longs to own, an Eichler home.

It’s rare I declare I’d pay money to see something again… This one I would.

But I suppose since they’ve apparently raised ticket prices to $8.50 a throw there – we’ll just wait for it to be released on DVD and buy it.
