Kevin went and took his math placement test as part him going back and picking up some courses at the community college.

Last weekend we went out and picked up a “reacquainting yourself with college algebra” book and he plowed through the text in no time…

I looked at it… nope… not much has changed – I don’t like that kind of math. (I adored geometry – not algebra).

I mean – I’m sure if I had to – I could hobble through the course now… I’ve got to have more determination and maturity now vs. the 15 some odd years ago when I was a tweaked-out media student. (*I do miss the 33″ waist though).

so anyway – I’m just crazy proud that he could just sit down with a whole textbook, teach himself something in less than 7 days, take a test and get an A.

So I think this means he goes right into trig, or doomsday devices 201, or whatever now.
