Pride was alright…. We just did a walk through.

Too much commerce…. not enough *real* floats…. and WAY too many exasperated gay Christian groups who *really* had this “desperately trying to make a point” vibe to them that left me with a subtly sad taste of heartbreak in the back of my mouth.

No wonder why the event’s vibes felt skewed and a little skitz… “we” as a group of people have really been beat up over the last few years – and the stress is showing.

What was very good to see was the big turn out… People were saying it was a record year…. It sure seemed like the biggest crowd I’ve seen from what I could recall.

I think we would have been better suited if we had gone with a group of friends and packed picnic baskets and stuff…. maybe next chicken.
