So I got a call last night at the end of the work day…

Lucy called – she’s in town.. we’re going over to Elise’s – just go straight there from work.”

(Lucy is the aunt of devcubber that acts more like sister since they’re close in age…. and yes… she’s equally whacky and fun).

I went straight there after work to hang out and wound up not getting home till 10. (this is pushing my annoyingly geriatric internal bedtime.)

Once home – I shoveled some dinner into my head and went to bed without doing any of the school-night ritual stuff: review next days schedule, get outfit together, pack gym bag, pack lunch, download pics from camera, update ipod, put morning meds and vitamins out…. etc. etc. etc.

I figured I wouldn’t make a post this morning but I noticed some whacky girl who has FTP access to my server to store pics for her own blog either intentionally or mis-moused a pic of us three into the main directory.

The picture’s not from last night – I’ll post some from then tomorrow I guess.

We’re dressed warmly and my hair isn’t *freakishly* long – so I’m guessing she took this earlier this year during one of our spontaneous – “just throw on your jammies and drive over and let’s watch a movie nights”.

I think it’s my new favorite group photo… Nice shootin’ Elise… and thanks for leaving me the pic in chicken.
