So it’s been flooding like a mo here for the past week… I seem to remember it doing that more when I was much younger but not so much anymore…. In fact the last time I can really recall would be back in ’93 when all sorts of parts of the city were underwater.

We live on high ground so there’s been no threat to property… Well – thanks to a grading problem in the front yard, we get “Lake Hutchins” after heavy rainfall… and yes – after the recent storms it was the worst I’d ever seen it – but we’re not building an arc or anything.

So if anyone was wondering – we’re relatively unaffected…. Except I had to take a different route from the gym to my dad’s house on Sunday – else buy a boat.
