Hmmm… Non-posts as of late all seem to be outside-related.
You always bond the best with the folks who share the trenches with you. Michelle is the LoanScapes office manager and is who I answer to most of the week. After months and months of working together, she’s crossed that boundary from “client’s henchwoman” to “friend”.
She invited us over to pillage her garden last night. Most of her plants needed to be split and were going to just get thrown out if nobody was interested.
This woman has a green thumb… NO.. scratch that… She has a green hand…. no… Scratch that… SHE HAS A GREEN ARM.
In a mere three years, she and her parter have transformed this small city back yard into an oasis. Multitiered ponds, plants I’ve never even heard of, custom decking, hot tub, etc. etc. etc.
Kevin and Chad were like two giddy kids in a candy store…. I would point and grunt as needed when I saw something I liked.
Two hours later of chatting and digging – the back of the car was full and a huge clump of 9 foot decorative grass was strapped to the top of the car.
We looked something like a broom driving home.
I cut the piss outa my forearms on the zebra grass.
