Good weekend which included:

Road tripping to carharttmo‘s house with Elise and family.
Board games, munchies and great company.

Worked on Saturday on chaos management and freelance gigs.
new structure seems to be working – I feel like I’m getting things done.

Took time pay attention to the freaky-warm-for-January weather and look at clouds.
Crazy stuff worth of an 8×10 view camera..

Found out the place I ordered my new camera from is one of those scam outfits
in New York City. I ordered from a place called Royal Camera dot com… and it’s apparently part of a family of real sheisters.

I’ve always heard the term “Buyer beware” but had no personal frame of reference for it…

I just learned a big ole lesson about checking out references BEFORE buying… Fortunately I haven’t received anything yet,… have called American Express… and.. hopefully – won’t get fucked too hard in the deal… (I stand to get fucked for anywhere from $170 to $700).

The particulars of this are really embarrassing on my behalf… My dumbness and niavity in this instance was textbook…. the very life blood of shitty opportunistic predatory scam meisters like these…

So – I’m not cryin’ here… I’m going to deserve this little spanking/lesson… just trying everything in my power to lessen the damage though… I’m not in a position anymore to randomly eat hundreds, if not a grand on principle.

I’ll outline the whole deal once it’s resolved so other “aw-shucks – ya mean people are dishonest?” fuck-head squirrel fodder like me may learn something.
