Alright…

*exhales a huge sigh of relief.*

I lucked out…. Thanks to it being back ordered, – my camera hadn’t shipped… The retailer had no choice but to cancel my order. Not without first trying a hard sell bait-n-switch a different, (lesser) model for “the same price” – wink wink-nudge nudge.

However – the very same attribute used to schnooker me the first time – was used to my benefit this time… I played DUMB…

In a nutshell – these folks pull you in with pricing that’s not entirely honest… and then add on items which are part of camera kits anyway – at incredible markup.. (thinks like batteries for $200 a piece). That and “Camera Warranties” from questionably reputable “Service Companies”…. and… ugh… you can read the nightmares online… All I had to do was google “Royal Camera” and would have gotten a long list of folks warning about this outfit….

Buyer beware…. I was an idiot…. lesson learned… fortunately with no harm.. (aside from stressing out over the weekend about it and loosing sleep)….

DUH MONKEY BOY – ALWAYS DO A QUICK CHECK OF WHOEVER YOU BUY FROM ONLINE!

Now… re-order yer’ friggin camera from a REPUTABLE OUTFIT and get on with your life… oh – and come up with a gimmick for your blog too would you?
