Chewing on that big ole list previously posted has kept me out of the whimsy-frog, picture-takey, contemplative stoney mindset…

But being a good true-blue American – I embrace hypocrisy. So… Last week I was longing for a return to 36″ jeans…. This week I’m raving about kids cereal.

The triple-pack PediaCrack they carry at Costco has changed…. Yeah – normally I stuck to the colon blow stuff leaving the Chemi-Puffs to Kevin and Chad to eat… (they love it)…………. until now…

They replaced the Coca-Puffs with Cookie Crisps in the value pack…..

If there had to be a cereal I remember from my childhood – it’d be this stuff.

Think tiny chocolate chip cookies that you… get this… put in bowl and pour milk all over.

Now.. of course.. these aren’t “real” cookies.. If you put one under a microscope – it would closer resemble polystyrene rather than a baked good..

But that taste… It’s EXACTLY how I remember it…

Vaguely cookie… Vaguely chocolate… Definitely Chemical.

Delicious… half-way through the bowl I was eight again and freezing Star Warsâ„¢ figures in blocks of ice in the freezer and watching Saturday morning cartoons.

Then my phone beeps and says: “Remind Chad to get the truck inspected tomorrow.”

*sigh*

I didn’t see any toys at the bottom of the box though… Maybe they stopped that gimmick.

Speaking of gimmick…………
